What We Carry
By Kalyn Fogarty

Emotional, heart-touching journey.
Beautifully, sensitively written story about a young woman struggling with the shock and aftermath of a miscarriage with her first pregnancy. First-person narrative keeps the story very close, very personal, and not only with the protagonist, Cassidy, but in first-person chapters of her husband, mother and sister. Each holds their own place in the narrative while casting additional light on Cassidy.
The story rings of authenticity, yet it's being told by an author with excellent craft, for the reader feels secure, in good hands, as we ride the emotional heart-touching journey of grief and ultimately peace and healing.
This terrific book shines a light on a heart-aching topic. Well done!
