Sugary paranormal romance
Light holiday reading—this book is a sugary paranormal romance set in a magical always Christmas place with perfect players.
Astra Noel Snow is the girl destined to meet Jack Clausen, the magical guy–REALLY magical. No real character flaws (in either one) in sight. Past mistakes are noted and smoothed over. The developing romance is one-sided since Jack is the only one who has the memory to see it progress.
All the magical details get smoothed out in the end, but I prefer a little more complicated reality tucked into stories.
One note I must admire: This story’s sugary sweetness is totally consistent. And since the reality of the holidays can be chaotic, this book is a sweet, fast-read escape.
